We found a water spring that has been underused and unequipped for 30+ years, located in a unique place in Kibera with trees and nature. WATERisLIFE decided to create an OASIS: a public space with added value for the community, with a protected water spring, solar power, storage units, a water point for washing and collecting, and a water access point, with our UF filtration system. We partnered with Whispers, a local youth group, for its management.
