The OASISWe found a water spring that has been underused and unequipped for 30+ years, located in a unique place in Kibera, Nairobi with trees and nature. WATERisLIFE decided to create an OASIS: a public space with added value for the community, with a protected water spring, solar power, storage units, a water point for washing and collecting, and a water access point, with our UF filtration system. With this project we are able to help 3,500 people to have safe water, but we didn't do it alone, we partnered with Whispers, a local youth group, for manage it.

Urban Settlement Water ReliefSupported by the Viña del Mar Municipal Council and Chilean insurtech Betterfly , WATERisLIFE has been focused on fighting the water crisis in the Viña del Mar informal settlements. These settlements get their water via trucks that go once or twice a week, and by buying it bottled, which is too expensive. With poor storage capacity, they have to keep the water outside their houses in open plastic containers for days, making drinking unsafe. We gave out 400 units of our UF bucket system, one per family. This means we helped provide clean drinking water to 1,600 people in this community.

Water from Air for PernambucoAtmospheric Water Generation (AWG) is a new technology that is becoming more and more needed in dry areas, where access to water (and clean water) is a major issue. WATERisLIFE partnered with WaterGen, top innovators in the industry, to deploy one of their machines to Pernambuco, Brazil. After many days of testing and learning, as well as educating the community, the system is ready and operational to provide safe water to 500 people in Poço da Cruz.

Sips of Life, Ukunda InitiativeDuring a visit to Diani, in collaboration with BottleNo30, we introduced the Magic Straw to three local schools in Ukunda area. This personal filtration device, equipped with advanced microfilters and activated charcoal, ensures safe drinking water. We distributed 600 Magic Straws, each capable of providing up to 1,000 liters of purified water, enough to support a child for nearly two years. Together, we're making a difference, one sip at a time!

Urban Settlement Water ReliefIn April, we returned to the camps of Viña del Mar with a new mission. In collaboration with the Municipality of Viña del Mar and our partners, including Betterfly, Nido de Águilas Chile, Rheem Chilena Spa, and Easy Tienda, we delivered 200 bucket filters, benefiting approximately 800 people in the Parcela 11 area. This effort reaffirms our commitment to improving access to safe water in vulnerable communities, bringing practical and lasting solutions to those who need it most.
