Since the dawn of time, humankind has gravitated to water. Because water IS life. Most of the communities in Congo have water, but it isn’t safe to drink. WATERisLIFE has been bringing different water filtration technologies and systems to people of Congo.
NBA player, Serge Ibaka, has a huge heart for helping the people of DRC and the Republic of Congo. WATERisLIFE is honored to join hands with this young man and bring water solutions to the people of Congo.
Living in the wore torn county of Democratic Republic of Congo, Uzima, a friend to WATERisLIFE, faced hardships beyond imagination. Moving from area to area to escape the warring factions, the essentials of life were often out of reach. Uzima was adopted and is now a teenager in the US. But she still deals with parasites that she got while in the Congo. Her love for dancing and joy for life is evident. Uzima shares her story here.
