WATERisLIFE has sent thousands of personal water filters to Haiti as they were needed post earthquake, during the Cholera epidemic, and we continue to be a part of bringing clean water to Haitians who go without a basic need each day. WATERisLIFE work continues in villages in Northern Haiti - filter distributions, hygiene education, pump rehab and well drilling. NORTHERN GHANA - TOLON and KUMBUNGU DISTRICTS
The Northern Ghana Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) project includes 290 communities with estimated beneficiaries of 262,720 including 309 schools with 38,145 students. Using an integrated WASH approach to bring sustainable clean water provision and sanitation solutions with hygiene education materials and training programs will reflect accelerated progress in theses villages areas of economics, health, educaiton and environment. This project will save lives and transform communities.
KENYA - MAASAI VILLAGES
WATERisLIFE is working in ten Maasai Villages in Kenya which are in need of WASH projects as their situations obtaining clean water and sanitation solutions long term are critical. WATERisLIFE has begun WASH work in the Loitokitok District in Amboseli, and will be working towards providing water, sanitation and hygiene assistance in Magadi and Isinya Districts.
